In our kitchen there was a small joke for dishes we made that didn't look like the image we had intended. These were called "Rustic" with a small smile knowing it still tasted good even if it's not perfect.
I embrace this term with simple homecooked meals backed with the confidence of cooking in professional kitchens and sustained with quality ingredients sourced from our farms here in Michigan.

I am a private food contractor by definition. My services apart from being a chef include travel, rental equipment and standardized menu consultation. My goal is to deliver memorable experiences for my clients and to help business owners find efficient ways to excel.
